Spanish Point Golf Course made its debut and opened its doors to the earliest visitors of The Atlantic Hotel, which was situated very close by and in view of the Eighth Hole.

The Atlantic was the largest hotel in all of the Emerald Isles—and Britain, for that matter—in 1810.

The Eight Hole is this course’s signature hole.
