Dearie O'Neill, as my great Aunt was fondly referred to, lived on this cliff's edge. Perched up on the embankment overlooking the Wild Atlantic at Cleadagh, Spanish Point, Co. Clare, in the exact spot and foundations of the cottage painted here.

A toast to the generations of O’Neill women who left these shores for far off lands, yet still continue to return generation after generation. I am honoured to be one of them.
