Auld Forecaster
The Lahinch Gold Course is home to a handful of goats that have become its mascots. On misty wet days, you will find these characters close to the Club House and – when fair weather is near—they will be grazing in glory down by the sea.
The seventh hole is the favourite of this “Auld Forcaster” as he looks west, out over the Atlantic.
I hope you can smell the salt air and fresh grass clipping as you take in this painting.
Let your spirit linger in the rough, along the fairway, and down the coast of County Clare.
This was a commissioned painting. A limited edition of framed prints are available at Kenny’s Lahinch Art Gallery.
